“The award was strongly desired to remember and follow up on the work of Valerio Cescon, a pioneer in the wine sector, who promoted and achieved the development and growth of our territory. He strongly believed in the potential of young people and their curiosity, therefore we wanted to contribute by accompanying six deserving students in their studies, hoping that it would be a stimulus for all young people who want to investigate the world of wine that we represent.”

In memory of Valerio Cescon: the award promoted by La Marca Vini e Spumanti

In 2023, La Marca Vini e Spumanti Sca announced the first edition of the competition for the assignment of six study prizes to honor the memory of President Valerio Cescon, one of the protagonists of the Treviso and Veneto wine world. The prizes aim to support deserving students of the Degree course in Viticultural and Oenological Sciences and Technologies at the Conegliano branch of the University.
