Right to education, without borders
After the Unipd4Afghanistan, Unipd4Ukraine, and Unipd4Myanmar campaigns, in 2023 the University of Padua launched the Students at Risk program to guarantee many students fleeing their countries of origin to continue their studies, in the name of freedom of study and thought. With the valuable support of numerous donors, it has been possible to establish new scholarships.

Environmental Initiatives
In line with its strategic objectives, the University affirms its role in the process of ecological environmental transition and sustainable development, focusing on the future of the younger generations. It is in this context that the two green projects that the University’s donors are making possible fit in: the Bosco degli 800 anni dell’Università di Padova and the research doctorates to stem the emergency of the bark beetle parasite.

Heritage
As part of the University’s “third mission” commitment to develop policies, projects, and actions that promote the transmission of knowledge with an impact on the territory and society, in 2023 the University opened the doors of two new museums: the Museum of Nature and Humankind and the Botanical Museum. Accessible and inclusive places, catalysts of initiatives for the dissemination and dissemination of scientific culture for the benefit of the community. Without the fundamental support of the numerous donors who believed in the value of these projects, all this would not have been possible.
