Flavio Piva

President BCC Veneta

“The future of our region depends on innovation, education, and culture. Through the degree awards and PISIA scholarships, we aim to build a bridge between academia and the local economy, encouraging research and practice in support of sustainable development. Our support for the restoration of the Morgagni painting reflects our broader commitment to preserving and enhancing the cultural heritage of our territory.”

The project

BCC Veneta: honoring merit, fostering sustainability and culture

True to its mission of supporting local development and sustainability, BCC Veneta has renewed, for the third year in a row, its commitment to advancing academic excellence by funding eight degree awards focused on innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development, in alignment with the UN 2030 Agenda. In addition to these awards, the bank has also financed two scholarships for the PISIA Master’s Program (Innovation, Planning and Evaluation of Policies and Services – Agenda 2030, Academic Year 2024/25).
BCC Veneta’s dedication to the region is also reflected in its support for cultural heritage. The bank has funded the restoration of the portrait of Giovanni Battista Morgagni, founder of modern pathological anatomy, housed in the historic Sala di Medicina at Palazzo del Bo.
