The right to education

“I chose to remember my dad by establishing a study award in his name. Giuseppe Mariani was a partisan in Valtellina, the husband of Anuska Svircich a refugee from Zara, a graduate of the University of Padua. After graduation he was hired at Olivetti in Ivrea, but after a few years he became ill and died while I was still a child. I like to remember him by helping other young people study at the same Athenaeum where he then managed to finish his studies after the war in construction engineering, certainly with hard work and commitment.”

For female construction-architecture engineering students: an award in memory of Eng. Mariani

Through the Anuska Svircich Fund established at the Italy for Giving Foundation , Ms. Mitzi Mariani supported a scholarship award in memory of his father, Eng. Giuseppe Mariani, for female students of the master’s degree program in Building Engineering-Architecture.
